From basic hostel to five-star luxury hotel - there will be something to suit you. The majority of these accommodations are family-run businesses which are happy to offer their hospitality to you and your guests.
To find accommodations that suits you best you can use the search engine of the tourist information (Verkehrsverein) of Tübingen (unfortunately only available in German). Here, you can check online which hotel has rooms available during your stay. The tourist information center is a place that can also provide personal accommodation suggestions. It is located on the city's famous bridge "Neckarbrücke" (you can also find it on our map of important places). There, you can get all kinds of information about Tübingen, accommodation offers and you can purchase bus tickets, too.
Additionally, you can of course use all well known search engines for hotels.
A guest house that cannot be found at the tourist office website is the guest house Lessingweg 3. It is owned and run by the University of Tübingen. You can find details on the website of the guesthouse.
Would you like to stay in the guest house of the University of Tübingen or accommodate a colleague there? Unfortunately, online reservation is not possible. However, you are more than welcome to contact them and ask about availability by sending an e-mail to welcomecenter@uni-tuebingen.de.
The new Max Planck House is currently under construction, and is scheduled to re-open in 2025. In the meantime, no bookings are possible. You can find more information on the homepage of the Max Planck House.
Tübingen is a special place for research. Very few locations offer such a wide range of research areas in such close proximity - both physically and figuratively. Not only are all of Tübingen's research institutions just a stone's throw away from each other, they also collaborate closely within the Tübingen Research Campus.
