For the next event, we welcome Prof. Dr. Begüm Demir. She is currently a Full Professor at TU Berlin, founder and head of the Remote Sensing Image Analysis (RSiM) group at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and head of the Big Data Analytics for Earth Observation group at the Berlin Institute for the Foundations of Learning and Data (BIFOLD)
Prof. Dr. Demir will give a workshop for female Postdoctoral and PhD Researchers. The focus will be on empowering women in science, with Prof. Demir sharing her academic journey. She will reflect her progression from a research associate to a full professor, highlighting significant contributions and achievements in her research.

We welcome Prof. Dr. Vlasta Sikimić. She is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy of Science and a member of the Philosophy & Ethics group at Eindhoven University of Technology. Her research focus is on Social Epistemology of Science, Metascience, Philosophy of AI in Science and Philosophy of AI in Education.
Prof. Dr. Vlasta Sikimić will hold a workshop, which is aimed at researchers from all disciplines, especially female early career scientists.
