Tuebingen March for Science

On April 22, 2017, thousands of people will be demonstrating at the "March for Science" in Washington – for the freedom of science and research, for the unhindered exchange between researchers, and against narrow-mindedness, ignorance and "alternative facts". On the same day, researchers, teachers, students and citizens from around the world will protest against anti-scientific tendencies under the motto "Science, not Silence". This is in all our interest, and in Tuebingen, too, we want to support these values.
The "March for Science Tuebingen" will take place on 22 April, from 1:00 p.m. on. We will assemble on the Neckarinsel, march through town, and finish with a rally at 2:00 p.m. in front of the Neue Aula.

The Tübingen March for Science is an initiative of local scientists who have been volunteering to organize this event.
