We are looking for proposals for workshops to be held during the 1st TNC Research Day, happening at the 27th of June 2019.

The overall purpose of a workshop is to provide participants with the opportunity to present and discuss novel research ideas on active and emerging topics in Neuroscience and adjacent fields.

This is your opportunity to discuss future applications in your research area, SFB initiatives or even the founding of a new research group.

We encourage you to make your workshop highly interactive, and include discussions, Q&A or panel sessions to facilitate a lively exchange of ideas among the attendees.

Workshops can take on a number of forms including but not limited to being organized around emerging research areas and challenging problems. Workshops may include tutorials, keynote / invited speakers, contributed papers and presentations and/or panel discussions.

We will be bringing together scientists from different fields (Clinical & Translational Neuroscience, Systems & Cognitive Neuroscience, Molecular & Cellular Neuroscience as well as Data Science & Computational Neuroscience), so please make sure that your proposal is not only addressed to your community, but to a broader audience.

The language should be English.

Workshops will be held on June 27th 2019 during the afternoon:

Round One: 13:00 - 14:45

Round Two: 15:15 - 17:00

Your proposal should include:

  • Name and affiliation of the workshop leader
  • Names and affiliation of other speakers / active participants
  • Abstract (between 300-500 words)
  • preferred time slot
