As the point of contact for enquiries about joint ventures, the University of Tuebingen’s Industry Liaison Office identifies and links up partners as well as presenting different ways in which science and industry can work together.
One of our aims is to inform scientists about the potential industrial usability of their research. Furthermore, we promote the continuous cooperation between industry and science. An important element of this is representing the interests of both parties efficiently with a minimum of bureaucracy, whilst focusing on the project goals. From the first contact to the evaluation of the requirements and the execution of the project, the Industry Liaison Office is there to support both the business and the scientists.
In addition to creating internal and external links with existing university frameworks, we are also focused on involving scientists in internal and external projects. Due to the close exchange with the University's Research Funding and Technology Transfer Units we are able to quickly involve competent staff for joint national and international support programmes and IP questions. Businesses also benefit from our networks within the University and to non-university research institutions and from the support that is tailored to their needs.
All scientific members of the TRC partner institutions are welcome to consult the University’s Industry Liaison Office.
